Anyone wishing to make a submission should email the Editor-in-Chief directly at law-studentreview@dundee.ac.uk 

Please do not submit your work through this website.

Author guidelines

1. Submissions are open to all. 
2. We will accept papers previously submitted as coursework, but please ensure they are appropriate for publication. This means the editorial board should be able to understand the paper without having to refer to assessment instructions. Additionally, all other submission guidelines must be adhered to. Please note that submissions which are original and have not been previously submitted as coursework will be given priority. To assist the editorial board in this process, please specify if your submission has previously been submitted for any academic assessments. 
3. The submission file is to be in Microsoft Word. 
4. The Dundee Student Law Review will consider submissions in multiple formats, this can include: case notes, short articles, long articles, blog pieces, and legal book reviews. Please send an email to law-studentreview@dundee.ac.uk to inquire about other formats not mentioned in the above-noted list. 
5. The DSLR kindly requests that the word count for particular formats are adhered to:
1. Short articles: up to 5,000 words (inclusive of footnotes) 
2. Long articles: up to 10,000 words (inclusive of footnotes)
3. Blog pieces: up to 2,000 words
4. Legal book reviews: up to 5,000 words (inclusive of footnotes)
6. An abstract should be included for long articles and we kindly ask that they do not exceed 250 words.
7. An abstract should be included for theses and dissertations. We kindly ask they do not exceed 350 words.
8. Text language should be in English, in 12-point font, and single-spaced. Please ensure your submission does not include any drop-down list content.
9. Please ensure your referencing is formatted in accordance with OSCOLA.
